Land of Rasha

The World of Rasha has many splendid towns, cities, and villages.  Located on the map are several of the highlighted areas of interest.  The map runs off the edges because the world is quite a bit larger than discovered by any of the main people in the storyline.  Rasha has caves, oceans, mountains, and ice that are still unknown.  The rivers flow from west to east unless they run north to south.  In them are natural and unnatural creatures and the waters are usually fed by underground springs.  The ocean has splendid wildlife, mystical as well as natural.  Some of the best stories originate from Voltan Harbor.  The swamps are hot, wet, and soggy.  Peat comes from the bogs, cranberries are harvested near Notting, and jet is pulled from the murky waters near Voltan Harbor.  An active volcano is just south of the northern mountain range.  There are several passes through the mountains which are still hazardous.  West, north and south of Hamlet of Hope, the terrain becomes extremely hilly, prolonging the trek from town to town.  South, towards the desert, the hills open up into flat plains and grasslands.  The shrubs and trees become scarcer until the desert becomes more noticeable.  High winds beat down with the sun on the dunes and flats.  A salt bed is rumored to exist farther south of the Forth Summit Mountain.

The people are free for the most part, though there’s several isolated pockets of slavery and dictatorship.  There is a king and queen of the land of people as well as monarchy of several intelligent beings, such as dragons.  Depending on the city, most crimes are prosecutable, under a uniform code of justice, and corporal punishment is a preferred method of resolution.
